Class Descriptions

Fitbit Cardio Tennis

A 60 minute non stop cardio class with music for all level tennis players. Players use a 75% compression green tennis ball to help lengthen the rally’s and keep the heart rate in the ideal cardio range. A broad range of feeding drills, ladder work, and game play for maximum enjoyment.  It’s all about having fun whilst staying fit!

Coach & Play

Coaches work on player’s technique, stroke making and match play, in a friendly, social and relaxed coaching environment.  After learning and drilling for an hour, players then participate in organised match play.

Adult Beginner

A 60 minute class dedicated to giving the player with little experience the fundamental technique to then be able to play tennis by themselves. Technique is emphasised in these classes whilst being delivered in a fun environment. Each class will also have structured game play to practice what has been learned.

Adult Improver

A 60 minute class dedicated to the player than can rally and play all groundstrokes, volleys and serves comfortably. The sessions include feeding drills and feeding games that are designed so that the player has an enjoyable workout.

Adult Intermediate

A 90 minute class dedicated to the competition level player. A focus on learning singles and doubles tactics but still a demanding workout. As well as feeding drills and coach fed games there will also be a mix of self fed games and occasional matchplay.

Adult Advanced

A 90 minute intense, high quality workout for the experienced competitive player.  Players should be able to direct the ball well, hit with different spins and have had experience playing in competition tennis.  A mixture of singles/doubles, games and matches for serious point play!

 

Competitions

Morning Coach and Play
A 90 minute tennis session that includes basket drills and feeding games, followed then by 30 minutes of doubles match play. An extremely fun and social session that will improve your technique whilst getting a great workout!
Ladies Monday Doubles Night Comp
A Ladies Doubles team competition where teams contest against different opponents each week in a best of 3 set match. 4 seasons a year with finals played at the end of each season, food and drinks provided on finals night. Players can enter as a pair or request a partner.
Ladies Wednesday Morning Doubles Comp
A structured round robin doubles format with a dedicated coach for the session to help players understand the tactical side of tennis. A relaxed social setting where players can enjoy the game of tennis whilst developing their game further.
Wednesday Night Mixed Competition
A structured Doubles competition where teams contest against different opponents each week in a best of 3 set match. 4 seasons a year with finals played at the end of each season, food and drinks provided on finals night. Players can enter as a pair or request a partner.
Thursday Morning Mixed Social Play
A competition designed for beginner to intermediate players that will include singles and doubles play weekly against a variety of opponents. A fun casual environment for the social player to enjoy some competitive match play.
Thursday Night Fast Four Doubles Comp
Fun Fast Four Doubles. Get on court, get a result then do it again. A fun but structured competition for intermediate players that can serve and have a rally.
Friday Night Fast Four Men’s Singles Comp
A week night Men’s Singles competition where we try to fit similar levels and age groups together in a competitive environment. The Fast Four format is utilised making all sets quick and intense to get that desired result.
Saturday Social Doubles Competition
A fun Saturday Afternoon Social Competition where players are paired up against similar ages and levels to compete in 3 set doubles match. All 3 sets are played out to give you maximum court time and that chance for revenge.
