Henry has had a lifelong involvement in tennis. He started playing at the age of 6 recreationally and then played grade 1 pennant post-school whilst training full time. Whilst training, Henry travelled nationally to play different levels of tournaments to understand the physical demands of the sport to help him pass on his experience and knowledge to the next wave of juniors to the highest possible level. Henry has always had a passion for coaching and has continuously up-skilled himself to ensure he delivers the highest quality of coaching for aspiring juniors.
Henry has worked at Tennis Australia with both the 12 and under boys, 14 and under girls state programs. He has also gone on to travel around Australia with young juniors helping them through their junior tour tournaments. Henry has coached many of the top junior players who have gone on to receive their junior world ranking and their world rankings.
Henry has found a real passion for running adult tennis coaching programs. He has a love of helping adults find a similar enjoyment of tennis as to what he did. He still loves to develop elite juniors and allow them to have the opportunity to take their tennis as far as they want. Henry also has experience in helping professional tennis players with their off-court rehab, prehab, flexibility, mobility, strength and conditioning so that the player is able to meet the physical demands of tennis.
