    Junior Competitions
    March 21, 2019
Match Play is a fun and social way for kids aged 7-15 years to get into team tennis and is played on Friday, Saturday or Sunday afternoons at Red, Orange and Green Ball level. The Matchplay is structured to educate students on how to compete properly during a match whilst learning the fundamentals needed to win, including tactics, emotional control, scoring and etiquette. A coach is always on the court with students to give feedback and guide them as they play. At the end of each match, scores are recorded and players compete over the course of the term for trophies and prizes. Many of our students have used this opportunity as a platform to transition into weekend club competition and JDS tournaments or as a way to put into practice the skills learned in classes.
